A Little About Me

I am a proud Army wife and a mother of four who finds strength, joy, and guidance in my relationship with God. Being part of a military family brings unique challenges and blessings, and my faith has been the cornerstone that supports me through it all.

My Walk with Christ

My journey with Jesus has been a profound and transformative experience. There have been moments of incredible joy and times of deep valleys, but through it all, my faith has kept me grounded. I grew up in the church, but I didn't have a true, authentic, intimate relationship with Jesus until a few years ago. I lived a life full of sin and while I said I loved Jesus, my actions and life did not reflect His character, at all. In 2018, I was baptized and proclaimed my love and devotion to God, I was changed. However, I quickly found that as trials, deployments, and uncertain times came, my foundation was not built on Christ and I crumbled. I declared with my words that I loved God and lived for Him, but I was simply checking boxes. I found myself again without a true, deep relationship with my heavenly Father. In 2023, the Lord revealed things from my past to me that were holding me back from fully surrendering to Him and having that deep, intimate relationship with Him. I prayed the popular Psalm "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." - Psalm 139:23-24. As always, God was faithful. He led me to repentance and surrender. My life was forever changed that day (more on that later). Over the past year and a half, I have grown in my faith and my relationship with our Creator. I have learned more about His character and I have witnessed miracles. I am excited to share more about my faith journey and my walk with Christ with you.

Our Family

Family is everything to me. My husband, Bryant, serves in the Army, and together we are raising our wonderful children, ages 7, 4, 2, and 2 months. Each day brings new adventures and challenges, and through it all, we strive to keep our family grounded in faith and love.

"Miracles and Motherhood" is a space where I aim to share the beauty and complexity of motherhood, the strength found in faith, and the unique experiences of military life. Here’s what you can expect:

• Personal Stories: I’ll share the highs and lows of my motherhood journey, offering a candid look at the joys and struggles.

• Faith and Encouragement: Expect to find scripture, inspirational messages, and reflections on how faith guides us through life’s challenges.

• Mom Tips and Products: From practical advice to product recommendations, I’ll share what works for me and my family.

I believe in the power of community and the strength we can draw from each other’s experiences. I believe that prayer is powerful so please, if you are in need of prayer or someone close to you is in need of prayer, reach out. I pray the Lord provides a word of encouragement and hope to you through me and this blog. My goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to use this platform as another way to bring glory to His name.
